Got the urge to draw Thrax again after seeing this new piece . There's just something fun about drawing a badass red dude with weird proportions (although it is also surprisingly challenging).The fire effects are fun to draw.
I wanted to do my signature that way but then common sense kicked in.Oh! Oh! First upload in months! 8D I'm not dead, I just discovered videogames. Or is that the same thing?

The perspective and background are very original, ad I love the Napoleon-ish pose he is holding there. The texture of his clothes and skin are very delightful to look at too!

But yeah, I love the shading and detail you put into this picture, the angle you decided to choose makes him even more intimidating...he is already, considering he is like 6 ft 5 or something XD So he is tall anyway, so to have an angle when he is gazing down at you makes him ever more hot and badass <33 Great job, you captured his essence well very well

Hah! This is awesome. I always thought Thrax was pretty cool and impressively creepy.
The heat showing through the cracks in the background looks pretty sweet- and you must have had a lot of patience to draw all of those cracks! And he looks very imposing from that low angle. You really effectively showed the sort of barely-covered malice that the character has. Nice job.

Yeah? I suppose it does look like most Thrax drawings are either about how hot he is or is meant to show off their characters or re-imaginings. Context might be important too; Enolianslave's and many others are kind of "Thrax floating in space looking cool" and not so much about mood.
Indeed. I started looking into Osmosis Jones fandom when I was a.) too young to be anything but a nuisance and b.) just as it was drying up; it was so small that you pretty much knew all of the active members by name. It does have a peculiar lasting quality though, doesn't it? Despite the glaring inaccuracies of Osmosis Jones I keep coming back to it and Thrax, even though I haven't watched it in its entirety for many years.

Yeah, the small fandom thing kind of sucks. On one hand it's nice to have a cozy group, and on the other, quality content is really scarce. I'm in the JTHM fandom and it's managed to hang on by a thread all these years, but sometimes it feels pretty claustrophobic. Funny how that sort of thing goes. There's been some Osmosis activity on +fourchan, recently, and I was wondering if we could get a club up and running. It could be fun.

Hey, late reply is late! I was thinking of getting off my ass and starting an Osmosis Jones club on my own, if there isn't one on DA already...? I haven't seen any, though I think there's an Osmosis Original Character Virus club that we could affiliate, if we worked together we could track down some artists and invite them by note, get the ball rolling. It would be nice to collect all the good art and the active artists into one location, run some contests, make some banners, what have you. The JTHM clubs still produce some good work, and their source material's almost 15 years old. Could be fun, right?

Weeell, there are a couple but even though I seem to be the default leader of OJ-Fanartists what with me being pretty much the only person who logs on there, they're a bit dead so I don't think affiliating with them would get much response (although I can guarantee a quick response at OJ-F!
Could be fun, yeah, although I must admit that I've never really been part of an active club before other than OJ-F for a brief while long ago, so I'm not entirely sure how we'd go about this. What's the etiquette on noting artists, anyways?
