Description At my university we've a special tradition - when it rains we don't fold our umbrellas and leave them in the main hall instead Sometimes it's difficult to walk through the hall, cause there are hundreds of umbrellas lying on the floor, but we don't care cause it's a funny thing...I didn't submit anything for a while, but well... school started, hope you like it

It's the same case too in our university, but I don't mind, since the myriad of umbrellas on the floor makes for a nice sight.

An interesting tradition considering the whole bad luck superstition about having an open umbrella indoors

this is the first time I hear that somewhere in the world open umbrella indoors brings bad luck. I know a lot of superstitions but well this one is new

Maybe it's a Minnesota thing? But yeah it is supposed to be bad luck to open an umbrella/have an open umbrella indoors (No idea how that superstition started, but it exists). I guess it sounds really weird if you think about it and haven't heard it before lol

well, you have some weird superstitions in USA In Poland, we've a thing with not putting shoes on the table or hats on the bed, but I noticed that in every us movie ot tv series actors do it all the time

Hey! Same here! Whenever it rains the students would open their umbrellas and leave them to dry. The front foyer to the library is a very popular hotspot because of this. Great to see other colleges and unis doing the same thing!
