OHWAIT WOOPS. I was so intent on adding my 2 cents to this ongoing discussion that I forgot to mention how I love the clothing designs, like the little detailing in the leather/hide on his chest and legs~<3

I don't think it's too warm. If you look at native tribes in the deep northern territories in canada, they wear garb similar to this in thickness, to stay warm since it's basically a second skin, and your only real barrier during the nighttime chills.

For a hunter? I'd say those clothes are too warm. Being a hunter you're going to move around for quite a bit, and even in the winter you'd sweat in those clothes. The sweat'd then freeze into ice when you stopped moving for a few minutes and bam, you've got frostbites and might even freeze to death.
Other than that it's a realy cool design

np ^^ I've had a few classes about cold weather and how to work in it and you'd be surprised how little clothes you actually need to keep warm as opposed to the summer

Well I wouldn't call it really cold, but I live in Sweden and the temperature can creep down to a pretty uncomfortable level in the winters, so yeah ^^ But yes, I can't imagine it wouldn't go for the polar regins too. It basically comes down to what you're hunting and how you're hunting it. If you're going to sit still for like 10 hours in a row and then toss a spear and be done with it I think something along the lines of this gear would be suitable, or only have one layer of clothes and then a thick fur coat that can be removed when you're in for action. You'd rather be in too little than too much clothes when you need to move and work, but something to keep you warm when you don't is ideal for every outside activity.

A lilΒ΄too hot, IΒ΄d say, but that depends on the climate.
In summer, this manΒ΄d die of heat before heΒ΄d see the prey, wearing those clothes!
