Wonderfully demonstrated. As a complete newbie... may I ask...how do you 'determine the lighting'? Without a model, how do you envisage where the light falls? Which parts are shaded?

I will do another tutorial on it when i get a chance.
You will have to choose your light direction, where the light is coming from in xyz direction. To shade it, unfortunately you will have to know the basic human anatomy and have done heaps of life drawings.
But will post more tutorials in the future so re-visit again when you get a chance. For now thanks for the comment. I know what to put next time
