Description This was the first test of a special skin material I'm making for future projects. It is designed to work with the NVIDIA iRay rendering technology which uses a computer's GPU to do all of the rendering legwork.

This image at 1280 x 720 pixels rendered in 1 minute and 37 seconds on two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 ti video cards.

Still a bit noisy, but it sure as hell beats waiting an hour to find out you needed to tweak a setting.

Hello there,

I just want to say the renders look great, 😏 if you don't mind me asking, what graphic program are you rendering with? Just to be clear? o.o

Normally I don't like how computerized feet look, but here they look really nice! All the shading and anatomy makes it feel more lifelike than much of the other CGI foot stuff on dA that looks too uncanny valley to me.

Most of these renders are testing techniques and optimizations to make as believable of an image with the shortest render time possible.  I intend to make the process streamlined to the point where I can produce a lot of quality content with a focus on story and quality rather than compromise for speed.
