Description A brilliant yellow light from the heavens grazed the land in its warm rays- the birds sang a joyful morning song, welcoming the world to another new day. Street dogs yawned as the light occupied their garbage bin they slept in and alley cats arched their backs. Children were heard in apartments, screaming in excitement about another new day to explore its wonders and find new adventures that awaited them.
As the town our story takes place in was awakening, a young man was taking a stroll around the place he called home. He seemed to own the streets as he walked in a almost strut-ish way. His hat was on the very top of his head, looking somewhat superior- his black, oily leather gloves gleamed in the early morning rays.
This man was someone who almost never talked- words scarcely escaped his almost overly-exaggerated lips, and if they did, it was the pure definition of “gibberish”. It wasn’t that he didn’t know how to speak- it was that he couldn’t find the words to describe himself or the emotions that were inside him.
But that didn’t stop him from being terribly friendly.

Crossing the street, he tipped his hat as an old couple walked bye, which they politely waved at him. Almost as soon as he put his hat back on, he tipped it at an angle to a middle age lady who was hurriedly crossing the street.
The young unnamed man, smiled pleasantly around him as he entered a small café at the corner of an alley. Puffs of thick smoke darkened the sky above the café, giving it a very busy-ish look which this young man enjoyed.
After hanging his bottle-green coat on a small coat hanger, the young man was able to smell the swirling scents of mostly cinnamon and some small tints of vanilla, sugar and warm peppermint coming from the kitchen. The walls were a deep rustic red, with dim lighting. Little talking was going on- just like it always is. The man sat down at a small, round table and waited to be served.
As he was waiting, he causally glanced to his right and saw what might have been the most gorgeous thing ever. A lady in a pale blue dress with a small pearl-beaded necklace was sitting right next to him.  She was quietly reading a small leather book, her face covered by her lovely long hair. Her tea was in one hand, and seemed absorbed in the book she way reading. His face went instantly red, and looked at his table.
The young lady at previously noticed him walking with his coat in and instantly avoided his gaze when he sat down. He was dressed sharply and smartly- he looked very expensive and clean.
After the man was ordered he tried to find the courage to talk to the lady next to him- not that he would engage in the conversation, but he felt a desire to say something to such a pretty girl.
The man, pondering about this for a while, suddenly let his hand go wild and made his utensil fly off the table to go near the lady-
Except it went to the left.
Scowling, he picked it up and heard a small giggle behind him but when he looked to over his shoulder to the girl, he couldn’t see her laughing.
Smiling slightly, he felt slightly better.
The rest of the time, he felt as though they were mentally communicating. She had “accidently” dropped her napkin and he swooped to pick it up- she thanked him, and he smiled lightly at her, and got a second to look at her face.
It was late afternoon when the man began to pack up his things- he really must be leaving; he couldn’t stay here all day, even if that pretty lady was still here.
He quietly got up, and absent-mindedly left without his coat.

Swiftly, the young lady, who was watching him out of the corner of his eye, shot up as the man was leaving- he forgot his coat! Pushing her chair behind her, she made her way to the door and grabbed his lovely green coat that had the tinge of cinnamon on it and opened the café door. Spotting the man in the black hat, she ran lady-like up to him as he was waiting to cross the road
“Your coat- sir-“ As he turned around, her eyes widened as she saw the fully for the first time- he was ridiculously handsome.
The man’s breath was trapped in his throat when he saw her- beautiful Carmel colored hair that fell in curtains of perfect curls, deep brown eyes, the slightest bit of freckles on her sun-kissed skin-
Both were absorbing each other’s beauty went the man gave a small grunt and found words:
“Thanks” it was a barely audible whisper that came from him. It almost sounded raspy and out of place.
She handed him his coat and backed away quietly for a moment, his eyes still trailed on her’s.
“I’ll see you around!” Turning around, her hair flipped behind her, she bounced off back into the café.

She sat down back at her table in the building, and aimlessly stirred her peppermint tea. A waiter whisked past her with a tray of cinnamon buns iced gracefully on the plate.
She could almost always smell the scent of cinnamon on the coat.

This is so adorable and touching, grape, I don't know what to say. You deserve to go to New York with every word you wrote. You are such a talented writer, I can imagine everything within this piece. Without even giving their names, you have created a love story.
I want a sequel, if this has been completed. And I might be compelled to draw some art of this over the summer. Such a gorgeous story and everything! ;D

Umm.
Just to annoying you in my stubborn ways- No sequel!;D

Actually, I think I'll make one, I'm not sure. This story needs a lot, I mean a buttload of work to be done. So far it just has the story line, I just need to add small details and such.

Thank you all the same!
