So, a while back made this amazing drawing of Akarai, and he was kind enough to give me permission to colour it!Thanks again for drawing this, man and thanks for allowing me to colour it
I inked over the line art and then coloured it with watercolours.

My biggest concern is always that the relatively bright colours will come across as "costume-y" and that making it too dark and suppressed will just seem dull.

This has to be one of my favorite kitsune samurai drawing, you did an amazing job with coloring it looks fantastic, the colors on the armor are outstanding and give the suit so much details. Even the fur and belt looks great, you've done it again, a amazing coloring.Β

You both did a good job in painting this specimen of an obviously inferior warrior compared to a mighty knight Β samurai.
I also love the expression. It is almost as if he was in immediateΒ danger but the dishonor of his enemies was so much that he couldn't care even the slightest.

Well, at least longswords don't bend at the first strike due to shitty metal one thing is for sure, he has quite the skill for drawing detailed armors.

The colorings on the armor plates somehow is very mesmerizing here.... maybe because it's just that I haven't done something of that level of lighting accuracy
