Description
My latest traditional piece I work on to keep myself busy during blackouts. I wanted to practice some more watercolour backgrounds, so I decided to paint Ferox wandering down some dusty road.

I was initially feeling quite negative about this one after a somewhat botched first wash where the colours ran into each other too much. In the end I managed to salvage it by sacrificing some of the "luminous" quality you normally get from watercolours by darkening some areas until the colour was corrected. In the end I'm glad I stuck with it and decided to persevere.
