Some fiery wolves I drew a few weeks back for school C:Originally drawn with blue,red and orange Copic Ciaos, plus the black Multiliner.
My scanner started failing on me so I had to fix them up a bit on Photoshop D:

These guys inspired me to create the 'G-Wolves', and I kind of like these designs so I might use them for something later...

I got a lecture from my art teacher about these guys XD
I was supposed to use a small, little wolf toy as a reference and draw exactly what I saw...
But I thought it was pretty boring and decided to exaggerate the muscles, fur and add fire.
But apparently straying too far from the original would only make me lose marks... :'c I'm not allowed imagination...
I got away with it this time, but in the future I'm not meant to alter what I see when drawing from a reference...¬_¬

I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to comment on all of your beautiful pieces in a timely manner. I've been so busy with so much over the past few weeks, and I wanted to make sure that when I sat down I got a good chance to sit and really give you a series of nice comments that I've been wanting to give you for a long time.
These wolves are so awesome!! I really do mean joy looking at work. :] I loved the blue flames on the paws of the wolf on the bottom. I really love the detail work that you've put into their fur as well! I really love the color schemes on both of them.

Oh wow.. You like doing fur more on a traditional level? Anymore I hate doing things traditionally. I can do it, if it needs to be done, but I have more fun at the computer.

Art school really kills your creativity, I know the feeling. And when you go to art school to really try to get the basics in, but you have all the creativity bubling inside... it's hard to stay within he rules
I think the point is: for those who have no creaticity and would like to "learn how to draw", it's a good thing to get challenges that open up for different skills and styles. For those who are artists by heart, is a challenge to try to limit oneself. That too can be a good experience, though
Anyway, this , ahem, -study- turned fantasy, is cool ^^, I really like the light effect you created!

Oh man, yes :'c I totally understand.
What we're doing for our exam grade is really strange though, I mean...we aren't getting taught any methods or ways to draw at all. They're basically giving us some paper and seeing what we can do...
But I agree! It's good to try out some different ways to draw once and a while! ^^

You did an outstanding job making the muscles, the flames and adding a fluffy look into them.
The color scheme is awesome, something that is hard to do when you mix many colours, but you rocked!
