And here is the part two!Phew, I am so happy I managed to finish these. Skorupis are only available during Summer and Fall so I had to make sure to make this comic before winter hits Pokette town.
Yep! A skorupi! I bet not many of you saw that coming! I love the idea of someone like Jenna owning a skorupi as a pet. So yeah! Meet Hanzo! The cutest skorupi you'll ever meet! I'll do the pet meme of him later and tell more about him.
And if you get his name reference, you earn the most delicious Internet mozarella ever.
Edit: Apparently there are more Hanzos than I knew. This Hanzo I am looking for is a video game character. EVERYBODY knows him and the series but did you know this was his real name?

Actually, something just hit me. You said only Bugs and Fish are made as pets. =O
What about the smaller bird type pokemons, like a Pidgey or a Chatot? =O

Nope, just like in animal crossing, only bugs/fish are allowed as pets. (okay, there were a couple of items that were pets but we don't have them).

ah. and I had that happen in one of my towns too. I generally think that there are hominid animals, which are the neighbors/npcs, and regular animals which are kept as pets. You have done a splendid job making an animal crossing/pokemon fusion, by the by.

I think it's because in animal crossing, you can catch bugs and fish, and birds can be characters.

Those are their catchphrases. In the original game, the animals also ended their sentences with those. But, I might use them little too much... But that is because I like them.

Ah, I see! Someone was nice enough to explain that to me earlier (I've never played the game), so it all makes sense now. Thanks for explaining to me, I wasn't sure if there was a reason behind them or if it was just randomly done. 8D

It's annoying, but its done more for continuity than anything. Have you ever played Animal Crossing? All the characters do a similar thing where they end their sentences with a word relating to their species (cats say meow, rats say squeak, etc). Anyway, its the same thing here, but with pokemon instead.

Oh I see! I never did play the game, I was looking at it more from a reading point of view where I would read the sentence and then the flow would be interrupted because I would stop and read this sound effect over and over again. And the first few times were cute, but every other sentence was beginning to get on my nerves, maybe because it reminds me of weeaboos who end every sentence with "nya~" or "desu!".
