Edit: Thanks for all the comments and I knew there were going to be some questions. Yes, I realise there's a change (I didn't pay much attension on chemistry/physics classes) that those plates are actually hot because Veruka's a fire pokemon. But I decided to ignore that and all the other logical solutions for the sake of humor.

Not all lucarios have to be the same like the one in anime. Actually, only the movie lucario talked while the gym leader's lucario didn't. Wonder what the lucario on Iron Island will do...
