Um, yes. = D I live. NaNo's over, which means I've been feeling this mild urge to draw something, sort of like how you can have a mild itch at the tip of your nose that doesn't really bother you unduly and you're pretty sure you could live quite happily without scratching it, but until you do it'll be there and it'll be distracting.So have some Faeries' Ruin fanart. On me.
I love this plot so much, and Hanso is all levels of awesome. <3 Plus, the comic artwork is all inspirey and I wanted to take a stab at imitating some of the colouring style. My background is kind of fail, though. You can tell I was just scribbling when it came to the purple stuff.
...Hum. I don't really feel like talking about art right now. I'm still in a writing kick thanks to the lingering task of finishing my NaNo (by the way, you can probably count on some pictures of some new characters soon. xD; Because I have a lot; I'm just too lazy to colour them).
So, um, right. Back to NaNo and art requests. >.> Enjoy?

Thanks! = D Hmm... other than by a lot of bluffing? Mostly, I cell-shaded normally, but I put the pinkish highlights on a new layer and used a large soft eraser to make them fade as they went forward and down. Added a white streak for the anime-esque shininess, and that was about it. ^^ It was oddly straightforward, actually.

...Well, okay, true enough, this isn't exactly a fail by my standards, since I generally don't draw backgrounds at all. I did, however, get rather lazy on this one and I probably could have made it better if I had taken more time. xD

This is...pretty dang epic. o_o Lovely colors, gorgeous shading, and a great air of grim determination. (The rest of Neopia was just gawking at that Xandra crash panel in horror, and here we missed Hanso getting his heroic shot!)

Awesomesauce! I love this plot hardcore as well. Not gonna lie, that panel where Xandra is standing there and Faerieland is crashing to the ground totally inspired me to finish my NaNo XD I wrote 12k in two days because of that damn panel. So of course this is win. This plot is surprisingly epic, way more epic than I thought it would be, and 1000000x more better than most of the recent plots. So, you win.

And I completely understand the NaNo inspiration. xD I kind of stopped keeping up with the plot steps about halfway through the month, but I couldn't tear myself away from the comic and ridiculous plot speculations. It gave me so many strange, wonderful ideas.
...12K in two days is pretty epic. xD I wrote 14K in the last two days, but, er... I'm not entirely sure about 7K of that even counted as writing.

I was just thinking I haven't seen you in a while x3 I'm finally planning on writing some stories for my characters over Christmas break as well, so that'll be fun ^.^ And I'm currently still in the middle of (yes, middle of xD) an RP that is well on its way to being over 300 pages long, so that's been really fun as well xD Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing you and your art more often then ^.^
