Um well I started about 11pm and finished close to the 7am mark, so quite a while Most of it was just spent on the characters though, the last couple of hours was spent colouring and blending the background ><

ya i know

there's only 2 things that bug me about this image

#1. Mohatu's head getting over lapped by the tile

#2. the rock that Mohatu is standing on could of been brought out more to me it looks like it's blending into the rest of the back ground

but i do indeed love how you drew the lions mostly teen Ahadi and lil Uru

plus the sky looks very nicely done as well

Yeah, I had to resize the image since it was too big so sadly the title and Mohatu's head suffered >< I'm not keen on that myself...

The rock is actually intentional xD I was taught that a background works when you can focus on the characters, and since I used soft colours, if I added in shading to define the rock it would stick out and people wouldn't really focus on the characters Sorry you're not keen on it, but it was intentional ><;

me i would of put soft darker lines in it to show it's detail but yet still keeping the soft look not taking to much from the image ^^

but anyway good job ^^ and i read your pages of your lion king comic are you going to continue it?

ha-ha, yeah though, to be honest I think yours is going to win this xD at the end of the day, mines pretty boring >< I spent too long concentrating on the characters and keeping them to the style and didn't put much thought in my background
