Finally, I got this thing done! I don't know how long I've been working on this, but it was worth all the time and effort. I sketched out the characters in Sketchbook and added the finished lineart and color in MSPaint. The ground and sky were done in Photoshop.
Yes, that's Scar lying next to Zira. In my headcanon, he is Zira's father. (Please don't get mad at me for this theory. And in case you were wondering, this doesn't result in any close incest between characters in my headcanon). Also, the colors I chose to use for Zira are a mix of her actual colors in the movie and the updated TLK1 colors Rinjapine created for her.

In my headcanon she's a bit younger than the other "grown ups" too, so Scar kind of sees her as an annoying little kid

That's exactly how I see it: Scar and Naanda as Zira's parents. Zira just looks too much like Scar and Sarabi for me to resist using this theory.

my mother for her was going to be naanda but I thought against it. So now her mother is a lioness called Nizi, the cousin to Sarabi, Diku, Dwala & Naanda.
