Description
Name: Panther ChameleonDate: December 31st, 2019
Location: Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga, TN
Conservation Status: Least Concern
Did you know? The male panther chameleon is the one with color dimorphism. Females tend to be tan or
brown with hints of pink or bright orange no matter where they are. If a weaker male enters a stronger male's
territory, he'll change his color to imitate a female's to avoid confrontation.
Lucky for us, we got to the zoo early enough to catch the animals at an active time. This guy was wandering around
his enclosure and drinking water from the leaves.

That little fellow is really adorable. Using black and white photography gives to the scene some meditative or nostalgic touch. The chameleon also looks proud and steadfast, supporting itself upright on the tree trunk. Different shades of white and grey indicate that the chameleon must be quite colourful. An unfortunate effect is that concerning black and white you cannot see the colours, it has adopted at the moment to camouflage itself.
The silhouettes of the surrounding plants are very mysterious and make the eye of the beholder curious to penetrate or follow them. They also create some surreal impression. Unfortunately, the tail of the beast is a bit blurred as nearer to the bottom to the photo, but probably it was on purpose to create a "fade out" or "fade away" effect.
All in one, it is a great piece of photography. Keep up that good work!

Thank you for the critique!
He did look stunning in color, but the contrast was what made me go black and white. I may upload a color photo in a few days.
