Would the artist kindly explain the choice of thorns, flowers and vines for the bottoms of the picture? Just curious as to what the intent was

I did another picture before this one, with Ama and Waka. I did the flowers and thorns for that, since to me they're opposites--the sun and the moon sort of thing. The ferns for Oki is supposed to represent the return of life, since that was a large motivating factor for him in his frozen village.

I love how you did Amaterasu. At first I was like 'Wow, who's tat nice guy in the middle!' untl i clicked and it was Amaterasu. XD I adore how you put Waka and Oki facing different directions and even having the moon behind them while Amaterasu has the sun! Their facial expressions are really nice, I like Oki's the most he sort of looks downcast. The different plant life below each of them is awesome!

If you revisit the game go through the little mini quests that many times you skip through it tends to be fun unless it gets frustrating after a couple of tries. Okamiden is what ya need to be after right now before it's gone off every shelf in stores.

Not in the game, no--just in his wolf form is his face without a mask. So this is just my interpretation.

EXCELENT! Short white hair is really cute, yet feirce, and thats how I picture Ammy in human form.
Oki reminds me of Saito from "Rurouni Kenshin" which is a good thing.
Waka seems too serious however.

I did kinda make him serious, but when I usually think of him now it's from the ending when he got more serious than throughout the game. Must be the angsty side coming out.
