Description Living in the forests of the Meteor Islands is a short predator, no taller than an office chair. The colloquially known Elephantom is an Arachnoris of the Atroxoris Phylum that earned its name because with its trunk, bipedal stance and long scaly tail made it look like the ghost of an Elephant. Arachnorises are known to feed like spiders, injecting digestive juices into their prey to turn their innards into soup which they suck dry.

Elephantoms, like many of the animals they share the islands with, are beautifully colored. At least, it is the case for the males, who use these colors to distract small predators, like Ocursaes, who savor Elephantom eggs. To ambush slow moving prey, they depend on the cover of the island's dense ground foliage. They sometimes probe burrows with their long proboscis to find food.
