Description These are my first attempt at enamel earings, unfortunately i used a home-made oven i made, and i burned one of them, which is why one has a black spot, the base for the enamel is copper.

I’d work with your images before posting them. Maybe I feel guilty but I try to keep my final images size below half a Meg. And no bigger than 1024x768.

With the picture I would take many at different angles, lighting, exposures, with and without flash. Go through them all and pick the one that shows your work the best.

A really nice backdrop for photographing jewelry is a piece of wood that has been charred with a torch. It is a wonderful blend of mat blacks to suck up all the light. It really brings the jewelry out.

You and I both have the problem of having to photograph our work and the fact is without a well taken photograph it doesn’t mater what the piece looks like in person.

These are my only critiques right now because I have trouble seeing the earrings. I look forward to more stuff.

There now, I felt guilt about the photo so i took a new one and managed to crop it, and i think its a little better than before in any case.

That photo is much better. I think you've found a new medium to play with. I'm excited for you.

I've been meaning to try ceramic glazes on metal but I need to apply the right surface for it to bind to. Something else to play with.

its really fun and surprisingly easy, ive just been torching the pieces to red hot, and sprinkling the enamel on from above to get the desired effect, not exactly kosher, but it seems to work really well.

generally I've been trying to cut everything down to smaller sizes, the only program for graphics I have acess to right now is paint, and that makes it really hard to crop pictures. ill definately try the charred wood background soon, and maybe re put all my other jewelry in that fashion as time allows.

Those are cool! The enamel color goes well with the copper.
