Description
Based on Chapter 5 of Birth of the Shivanian Heroes: "The Accumulation".While young Wraginor Torokarr, the water dragon, enjoys performing water magic to the students and teachers of Shivanian Army School, Skaro and Hotara resumed to the open fields away from the school. Skaro leads him to his own training area. On the first lesson, he grabs a stick, performs a technique about martial arts, and pokes a sack of sand. Hotara barely understands the instruction, but Skaro has more plans on how to make his younger brother motivate like a real lizardman. He clarifies the teachings without using technical terms. Therefore, Hotara finally understands the first lesson. He is then ready to accumulate more in the next martial arts lesson.
Skaro finds Kitrak, the greater druid of Kame'kalians, the protector of Nature, and the follower of Dragon God. Kitrak has his three young and faithful students, Kary'lekt the anthro pterodactyl, Agamid the agamid lizardman, and Rax the snakeman (rattlesnake). Kitrak requests Skaro for a spare space in this area when he needs a private discussion away from his Sacred Forest of Kame'kalians. Being compliant to the druids, Skaro agrees.
When they take few more hours of training session, they take a rest, eating and drinking before continuing the daily routine.
Dual training has two sides, warrior and druid, separated.
Hotara and Agamid are both best friends in educational school, while Agamid is close to Kary'lekt and Rax.

I don't know why I have never faved this before. The scene is very reminiscent of one I will be writing down the road, where the Lir's primary warrior is teaching his daughter.

Skaro's probably the best teacher around, if I do say so myself.

Hello:
Β Very nice pic! I admit I have been lurking around here for a while, so I am sorry that only now I make a comment .
Β I think the whole concept about your Lizard people is very interesting. and in several ways I totally agree with your ideas as I also have warrior races on my own in development.
Β I do have some question, if you won't mind:
- besides training, do they have other activities? like school-style teaching of other contents for the kids?
- Do they have sports so they have other activities than just fighting-trainings?
Β Keep up the great work!

Heheh of course, they have math, languages, physical education, Shivanian history, elemental magic, and nature science (a bit, and no technology). Activities can be like ours in lizard way, heheh.
They have some ball stuff like mesoamerican sport, but in different way. I need to think for the ball game that fits to the Shivanians ^^

Hello:
Β Thanks for replying.
Β Well, I do have my own setting aswell, that is why I asked if they have other learnings besides physical training for fights. So it is good that they do have other activities.
Β I was thinking in some sort of variation of "capture the flag", with division for all ages focused on team work (specially useul for races in my stories like Gaean Wolves).
Β Keep it up!.

The training of the reptilian resistance as it seems, It is an interesting effect considering that it seems you needed a bit of help. The young and playfulness of this image works as it is training the warriors, the magic wielders, both in this goings on background and foreground. The fact the time of day, plus the fact see it as windy, well in the cloud layer at least, works as well, so the while image is in a state of movement.
