.. some boards and cut scenes i did for Fallout Tactics. Did them in watercolour and conte, cuz they wanted a field journal look to it.Related content

I tried using conte when I was a teen a few times, what a mess they can leave behind if you don't know what you're doing
but I used to love water colour that was fun.

..heh, yeah it does get kind of messy with conte and soft pastel..and that damned pastel dust goes everywhere..

Well it really looks like you put a lot of work into but in a good way. Sometimes rather then coming nautrual sometimes that hard work really shows you know?

..heh, yeah. I'm getting better though, and I really love that kinda stuff. I admire artists who call do that suff off the top of their head as naturally as I do my characters.

Oh yeah me too. Very much so. Wish didn't really have to think about it somtimes. One thing I am like that though is color for some reason I have a very good sense of color in my work for some reason. But I keep working on everything else lol.

I know exactly what you mean with colour. I've always had an eye for colour.I don't know I suck at colour theory, but technically and practically I know how to mix and blend..
We are rivals to the point where he absolutely hates the work i do. he want's to be a 'Fantasy Artist' but has only done a few children's books. He keeps telling me how 'Digital Art' sux, and how art should go back to the time of the Renaissance...

Respect of color theory is good, but you can't let it control your work. Crazy. Digital Art is amazing. I like doing a lot of traditional but I also really enjoy doing digital work. I think there is room for both!

That is just so neat. I love you're mixture of futuristic sci-fi and fantasy (the rusted mech-like fortress, armour etc.).

Do you have any idea how much your work inspires me? Please don't think I'm a rabid fangirl or babbling idiot (I only did that when I finally got to meet Jeff Easley in person). You're doing what I've always wanted to do - illustrate for books, magazines and the gaming industry. I truly admire your work and you as a person for all the wonderful comments and help you've given me.
I think I'm still a bit... stuck in the box? For me, it's very hard to cross genres, which is so odd considering how I love Shadowrun and RIFTS and I'm a fan of both sci-fi and fantasy writers. Shoot, one of the first trilogies I remember reading were the Adept books by Piers Anthony. Yet another goal to add to my list
