again, more awful puns....my ass was soooo cold.
coooold.
but at con, i found that the lovely muslin I'd used for the lining didn't really help keep me from boiling to death. It did...sorta held me from peeling off my flesh.
i do still have welts and friction burn from various pieces of the costume.

After 20 hours of wearing it, I literally had to peel it off of me... I had gold paint impressed upon my flesh for a week.

The costume was actually comfortable to wear - just kept getting stuck to the chairs i tried to sit in, and literally had to peel the thing off of me after the twenty-something hours of wearing it. This one was kind of the first ballsy costume I did, and really opened the flood gates to what I could - and would - cosplay! Thank you very much for the favourites and the comment!

no prob. I'm half Italian (sicilian actually), the rear is a place on a woman that I naturally notice. Not to be a pervert, but you have a nice ass. Most of the homemade Ivy costumes I seen, the person wearing is either wearing pantyhose or made the costume to cover the full butt. You were willing to go authentic, that earns respect.
To be honest, you're cute all around. If you have a boyfriend, he's one lucky son of a gun. Yes, I seen your other cosplay pics. And yes, my girlfriend who wants an Ivy costume lets me call other girls cute, because she knows that I think she's beautiful. Love has that effect.

Thanks very much~ I think it was the first costume where I wasn't going to do the costume unless i did it right. Actually, i had to make one coxession to that - i made proper shoulder straps instead of attaching them to the collar, because with the cut of the cups, they wouldn't have held my boobs in place if i hadn't...
But yeah, it really opened up some doors to do some other nigh-impossible costumes. :3

you're welcome. Too bad you mentioned in a comment reply to someone else that you deconstructed it, you could've made a lot of money auctioning that one off to make more costumes. Oh well, it was a decent Ivy costume while it lasted.
