I doubt I'll ever wear this one again. It took some 6 hours to do the hair, required a full pluck of my eyebrows, and duct-taping a metal frame to my ribcage. It wasn't exactly something you slip into.

It was all worth it. Jessica's cartoon chest is of course mechanically impossible for a woman with real breasts. Your cosplay is a close as it gets ... qudos to you.

This dress was constructed on a steel frame. I made a brace that was literally duct taped to my stomach, and then the cups were built from steel banding and foam and tape. Then I stitched the fabric to the foam and shaped it around my body. Due to the slight stretchy-ness of the fabric I chose, I didn't need any zippers or fasteners, I just slid it on over my head, then taped it in place. Unfortunately, the weight of my breasts, combined with the tape gradually heating up meant that this costume only stayed put for about 2 hours before it started to slide. Which means you'd either need to excuse yourself to freshen up your tape, or only plan to wear it for a short period of time. But it got the most accurate construction of the design without needing any cheats like flesh-coloured fabric, incorrect high-backed dress or straps.
Hope this helps!

And a tad masochistic, since structurally it's impossible, so we had to glue and tape it to my stomach to get it to stay up! XD
