The lighting is beautiful, contrasts very well with the dark sky.

This one's got some kick to it. I like the vibrant colors and the varying degrees of shadow and light brought on by the clouds. The clouds themselves are stunning with how dark they are. The one critique I have for you here relates to the noise in the dark clouds. If you run a selective color noise filter on the clouds, it may clear up some of that blotchiness. Other than that minor detail, very beautiful capture.

Cool, I will try that. Would that also help to clear up noise generally on dark photos? I've got some dawn/dusk shots I'd love to post but they're super noisy so they look kind crappy at the moment.

Hm... depends on how noisy. I tend to just write off super noisy images, but that's because I don't have the patience to edit them. The best cure for noise is to use the lowest ISO possible, use the shortest exposures possible, and avoid heat. Yeah, I know that last suggestion is silly most times of the year around there. But basic noise reduction in Photoshop CS2 and up should give you better results. There are plenty of shareware applications that specialize in noise reduction and the only one I've really played with is Noise Ninja. It's free to try, but you'll need to spend a few dollars to create images without destructive watermarks. You could look into Noise Ninja, but I'm sure there are free solutions out there if you don't have money for any of this software. I just haven't looked. D:

Just stunning... Again, I reall love the contrast between the sunlit rocks and the dark clouds above them, such shots always rock. The shadow casted onto the ground by the clouds also adds to it.

Thanks! I really enjoy the sky/cliff contrast as well, and whenever I see it like that, I try and take a pic. Some are more successful than others though.

I no longer believe you actually live indoors anymore, and spend your entire life outside on rocks.

That's pretty close to the truth. Some days I don't even go indoors to sleep.

Too bad. I've already moved all my stuff into your spare room. Where do you keep your floss? Never mind, I'll use this open packet here that has "Rob's: Do Not Touch" scribbled on it.
