Ever since the Snow Ball I've been feeling SO festive! my uni work is all finished and I'm heading home for Christmas on Sunday!I feel a bit sorry for Sirius here but the image of him decourating Grimmauld Place rather amusing

I always pictured him singing "We Need a Little Christmas". If you listen to the lyrics it sounds just like his situation. I like how they get ornaments out of a box as opposed to conjuring them out of thin air.

I wonder if his parents really liked decorating for Christmas? I imagine that Kreacher would have done a good deal of it. All that red and gold probably made their stomachs turn, though, heheh.
I loved when they were there; it was one last happy moment, even though he became despondent again right before they went back to school.
I like that you included the house elf heads, but I think I pictured them more strung along the wall like people have deer or bear heads, with little plaques underneath. I'm not sure which is creepier; the display case, or mounted on the wall!
That looks like very fuzzy and soft garland; more like a white scarf. I like it!

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Then I figured maybe the wealseys brought some of their decorations from the Burrow! I can't imagine Sirius ever having a nice Christmas there before so I bet he really got into the spirit of things!
You may be right about the heads...I didn't check the book that's just how I've always pictured them
