I saw something similar some months ago in the "Today's Favourites", unfortunately I can't remember whose was this dev.. and I wanted to try if a ring, or something round, can really make a heart-shadow between the pages of a book.//Desaturated

This is fantastic!!! I'm so gonna have a go at this myself, for my own gratification... Did you use a real ring here? There is a lil' bit at the top of the ring which looks kinda funny... Using an Italian book was a real touch of genius because the Italians are supposed to be the masters of love aren't they *sniggers*

No, this is not a ring.. it's a key ring ^^ I just changed the balance in photoshop, more yellow and more red.. I don't remember how much
