dave finch is the original artist she is a android assasin that after every mission she forgets all her memories so she makes a recording of herself to tell herself who her allies are and what she needs to know about all the things she has forgotten

Thanks for the comment! To color I start with colored pencils, then a bit of photoshop to get rid of the pencil texture. I try to retain some of the pencil look so that the coloring does not look too slick.

I bought a couple issues of the Aphrodite book when it first came out but I didn't stick with it.
I think your version of the hair style may be slightly different but I could be wrong.
But that's really nitpicking because this is a really nice piece.
The anatomy looks really great (and believable) without being "obvious," I think, too! Nice and curvy, instead of lean and busty, you know?

I can't remember exactly, but she's a clone of some woman who needs a new body, and she's 'the perfect assassin'. She basically looses all her memory after she does a job, so her boss/care-taker has to remind her after every job. Pretty jacked.
I like this version of her though, as the image/topcow style of the time was to over use hatch line and over detail.

Hey thanks for the info, and the critique. You're right about the art at that time, it was too overly rnedered. It's kind of interesting that when that style of art first happened I was really into it, but now when I look at those books it leaves me wanting something else. For whatever reason it hasn't stood the test of time.
