DISCLAIMER: I was strongly advised against doing anything other than standing and posing with the bow. Especially not trying to do a mid-jump pose with it. But, when I have an idea in my head I generally am deaf to all advice, but that's because I am an idiot and parttime applicant for the Darwin Awards. DO NOT TRY THAT AT HOME.
I'm not going to lie to you, I was gutted when I had to take those ears off. But, I only did so several hours after the shoot.
I was so excited to do it aswell, the costume isn't the best, cause the majority of it I made myself. I was annoyed that the collar didn't stay upright, but I did buy only very cheap material. It didn't help that I only got a new sewing machine until the night before this shoot. The old one finally packed in and gave up the fight (I googled the serial number aswell. Half of that tunic was made using a 76year old Singer.)
The boots and the vambraces were made completely by hand.

Hey there! I'd just like to say, your images are beautiful and dynamic! I say, go for the awesome midair shots, forget what they try to tell you.
Anyway, I was wondering if I may have your permission to use this stock as reference for some pictures I will be drawing? Mostly they'll just be uploaded on dA, but they may end up being used on Gaia as reference images for my character.

thank you
for outside use just shoot me a note saying you wanna use my elf ranger pics in a drawing on gaia and include a link to the site or your profile on the site, whichever way round that works, uh, your profile. yes. character. stuff. yes.
i just have a folder for my notes so i can keep everything together. if i start splitting it with comments too, things get messy.
but other than outside use of model stock, and commercial use of any stock, you don't need my permission, just credit/notify etc

Haha my mother is a seamstress and has a commercial grade Brother sewing machine that has been sent in to repairs many times. Her fall back machine is always one that I inherited from my late 92 year old great aunt... a nearly as old at 90 year old Singer that runs like a damn horse!
Who says new is always better?!

haha, yeah, we have two Singers. one is my grandmas, the other is my great great grandma's... i haven't checked how old that one is because I cant be arsed pulling it out of the desk thing to find the serial number.. would mean getting everything off the top of the desk. but its one of them with the huge foot pedal that turns a wheel.
it would work, if i hadnt broken the pedal when i was a kid.
the 70 odd year old one works.. ish.. it just keeps getting jammed, and its not stitching properly. its being a real pain in the arse to be honest. so now we have a machine that will do more than just straight stitch.
