I actually had this same thought the other day! I was reading a fanfiction and they where walking through snow, and I'm like 'um... wouldn't they be freezing?' rofl.

Lol. I came up with that, cuz my best friend(Who I happen to be crushing on) cosplay's as Gaara,and so I always call him either Panda-Chan or Gummi Bear. And it just stuck for whenever I see Gaara.
Lol. Yea, SAND village, as in DESERT as in NEVER SEES SNOW! EVER! So naturally they would all be like "OMFG! THIS IS FRIKIN FREEZING!" where as I, go out Bare Foot.

As for the snow in the background and mountians...well, There is nothing BUT snow in the background...you know how snowny mountains tend to have that blue tinge?
