Tashi looks so scared on this page, it's breaking my heart. He's really lucky he has Nima there to look out for him. I doubt he'd have been able to make it out on his own.
(BTW, the link to the comic is slightly broken: there's a string of characters at the end that shouldn't be there and it leads to a Page Not Found.)
