Description
The CVRC remains a (compared to other factions) small but widely inclusive, highly organized, psuedo-military organization. Although we happily accept members of any species, the tight familial bond members have with each other is key to our efficience. So screening out dangerous or toxic personalities is important.

Step 1. Debriefing: depending on your size class, Tommy (for human sized initiates) or Tharrim (for giants), will sit on the initiates forehead and ask increasingly personal questions and monitor the initiates reactions. Its supposed to screen out weak willed, impulsive preds and humans with violent tendency's.

Debriefing for giants happens in a seemingly random location, with Morai or Trilli (both giant types) secretly supervising.

For human sized species it takes place in a room full of hidden defenses (because Tommy is dumb like a fox) with a small bed, that is also booby trapped if he or she reacts unfavorably.

For Tinies Jerris who happens to be a Neko (natural predator to tinies) casually interviews them watching them for any animosity they may have toward preds.

Step 2. Pressure test: depending on your size class, Morai (For human sized species) or Tharrim/ Sometimes Jerris (for tinies ), The Initiate will partially strip and sit in the mouth of a larger pred while solving a relatively simple puzzle box with in (roughly) five minutes.

Jerris used to specifically be in charge of Tinies but after partially swallowing one initiate (she got him back up almost instantly) she decided not to continue the tradition. So now its usually Tharrim (really not her cup of tea) or one of the lower ranked members who stands in.

Giant types are usually exempt from this fr obvious reasons.

Initiates are usually slowly acumulated over a year til there is at least 4 to 8 of them, they are then sent to a remote location where a temporary campground is set up for "Cadet bonding" basically team exercises and group problem solving, they even sleep within close quarters of another.

Then after 2 weeks the officers in charge (seemingly) abandon the cadets with instructions to hike back to the "main outpost". The Cadets are then secretly followed and monitored by the officer to see how the freshly bonded cadets interact with one another.

Usually things go well for cadets by this point, but an odd result of personal chemistry, predatorial frustration, and sexual frustration has led to problems of another nature, as it's not extremely uncommon for cadets to sneak off for some inter-species intercourse... Which can look very much like predatorial behavior with "giant type species", its been the primary cause of "disrupted simulations"
