Description A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Phosphor Serpenta is the medium-ranged, pistol form of a Phosphor Weapon often favoured as a side-arm by Tech-priests forced to go into battle directly. This particular pattern was reverse engineered by adept Ivan "Void Biker" Asimov from a single proper Phosphor Serpenta, taken from the hands of the highest ranking Tech-priestess on Kray Mira after her untimely death.
Phosphor Weapons are an ancient and very deadly form of unique weapon utilised by the armed forces of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Though the crawling horror Phosphex Weapons is all but forgotten in the Imperium of the late 41st Millennium, the blinding white fire of phosphor weaponry is still utilised by the warriors of the Skitarii Legions to mark out high priority targets amongst battlefield murk. If those struck by the burning, incendiary spheres fired by these weapons are not killed by the initial trauma, they are soon felled by the light-guided volley that follows. The burning white spheres that shoot out from Phosphor Weapons cling tenaciously to their targets, sizzling wildly as they melt into flesh or burrow through armour and exoskeleton alike. More often than not, it is these luminagenic orbs that deal the death blow. Even if a target proves tough enough to survive the burning pain, the phosphorescent glow these spheres exude can guide an ally's volley to strike the same target.
This pattern is considered to be heretical in the eyes of the Machine God by some members of the Adeptus Mechanicus since it is far less sophisticated than the other extant patterns of Phosphor Weapons. Even though duplicating such closely guarded technology (and modifying it) without permission from the Priesthood of Mars constitutes some serious tech-heresy, Kray Mira was forgiven by the Adeptus Mechanicus due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade. Still, heavy restrictions were implemented to prevent this technology from falling into the wrong hands.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia. Hope you like it!

Ooh, I’m looking forward to seeing your bolt pistol ideas! And yes, that was intentional. I went and looked up a captive bolt pistol and asked myself “what if that was the back half of a Mauser pistol?”

Thanks so much
