Description A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Makarov-Orlock Mk I Plasma Gun belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force.
It is a highly tuned, and very compact, rapid-fire Plasma Weapon that can lay down incredible volumes of devastating plasma energy, capable of firing a potent armour-melting blast with little risk of overload (under normal circumstances) thanks to an ingenious safety mechanism that, when activated, prevents the Makarov-Orlock from firing until its overheated frame reaches safe temperatures, making it one of the most advanced weapons of its kind. Though the same cannot be said when it is fired on its deadly overcharged setting. While its ability to fire in semi-automatic and automatic modes makes it both versatile and deadly, this weapon uses an immense amount of energy and it's more prone to overheating than even a typical Plasma Weapon, hence the inclusion of the safety mechanism. Its blue-white coils burn hotter than standard blue plasma weapons, resulting in a longer damage over time effect. Its sturdy, compact and modular construction has earned it a reputation for reliability and efficiency, and it is a favourite of many fast moving Grenadier Squads that prefer the speed with which it allows to bring its raw killing power to bear. Besides the overheating, one of its only drawbacks is that the more complex inner workings of the weapon require more time and resources to manufacture than a standard Plasma Gun. It should be noted that this pattern was reverse engineered from a highly sophisticated Plasma Gun said to come from the Hive World of Necromunda, bearing the makings of House Orlock, with some added improvememnts similar to those of the Pecheneg pattern Plasma Gun.
Though Kray Mira did not originally meddle with such holy technologies, the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum forced the planet to improve and expand its defensive capabilities in order to survive. Due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade, all of Kray Mira's subtle tech heresies were overlooked/allowed to continue by the Adeptus Mechanicus.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia. Hope you like it!
