Description A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

A Galvanic Rifle is the preferred long-range weapon of the Skitarii Rangers and is often favoured by Tech-priests forced to go into battle directly. This particular pattern was reverse engineered by Master-Armourer Fedor Tokarev from a couple of Mk IV Arkhan Galvanic Rifles, taken from the hands of the highest ranking Skitarii Tech-Guards on Kray Mira after their untimely death. Its bodywork combines elements of the flintlock guns of Mars' past and of some ancient Karymiran Stub-Rifles. Despite it's archaic appearance, the galvanic Servitor-bullets that this weapons fires are incredibly advanced. When such a bullet strikes home, it causes all the potential energy of the target to burn out in a killing blast of electric force. Instead of primitive chemical propellants, this weapons employs a voltaic cell, an electrochemical cell that derives electrical energy from spontaneous redox reactions taking place within the cell. This cell generates the physical power, similar to gunpowder, that fires the Servitor-bullets inside the rifle.
This pattern is considered to be heretical in the eyes of the Machine God by some members of the Adeptus Mechanicus since it is somewhat less sophisticated than the other extant patterns of Galvanic Rifles. Even though duplicating such closely guarded technology (and modifying it) without permission from the Priesthood of Mars constitutes some serious tech-heresy, Kray Mira was forgiven by the Adeptus Mechanicus due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade. Still, heavy restrictions were implemented to prevent this technology from falling into the wrong hands.

As with my previous post, it's kinda inspired on the Soviet Union and modern day Russia. Hope you like it!
