They'd been behind for much of the trail that lead through The Badlands to the train station, but it wasn't until the sun began to descend and the snow began to pick up that Tabbitha realized they were much farther behind schedule than they should be. She paused only to light the small oil lantern packed away with her gear, pushing on through the increasing winds as the duo persisted to close distance between them and the train station. Tabby couldn't tell how far behind they were from the last rider, but it had been hours since she'd seen anyone and now the lingering hoof prints on the trail were beginning to fill with snow. 'Just keep moving,' she muttered under her breath, giving the roan gelding a pat on the shoulder. Come hell or high water, she wasn't making camp among the slippery, steep trail - they would make it to the train.
