Gonna be playing Hatim in AU from Bitaurs for now, sticking him in Reos so the spotty monster can harass him a bit.

It wasn't often that Hatim found a sheltered place to bunk down for the night. Typically, as tonight, he simply found a small recess in the endless sands where he'd shed his gear, make a small kindling fire to warm some tea, and allow Najwa to find prey if she chose. The building storm clouds told him he'd need to find something more substantial, and soon. The rains weren't far, and while the sweet relief of the downpour would be welcome, a solid shelter would be needed - though that was the last thought from his mind. His attention was turned to the ever present shadow that had followed him for the last several days.

Skittish and wary, the half-wild Vayron got close enough to snatch up the scraps of food he tossed to her before she bolted off again, taking her own shelter among the dunes. Hatim himself was a careful being, preferring to wander the desert alone and make his living off the land, but he had to admit the young Vayron peaked his interest. Only time would tell if his patience would lure her in.
