Hotah had not the strength to hunt buffalo, nor the speed to patrol the border, and so he was tasked with the lowest position a Wallowian wolf could have: pup sitting. Despite baring the public shame of his inadequacies, Hotah took to his post in stride, and found great reward in raising the next generations.---------------
Hotah tells his young pupils the brave story of Cheveyo, the selfless wolf who risked his life to defend his pack against the monstrous Wallowan lake monster. He teaches the pups that their imaginations are a powerful thing.
Location: Wallowa (off-map location; past event)
Season: Summer
* The magical elements are a representation of imagination and do not exist in the world of TFS

Legend & location based on Wallowa Lake in Oregon and the Nez Perce legends surrounding it. Hotah's backstory is inspired by "Wallowa Lake Monster" by Sufjan Stevens.
