For several minutes the native creature studied Jarine.
Between the foggy and dark forests, and his camouflaged nature, the creature blended almost perfectly.
Jarine was so focused upon her scanners, and her R4 unit engaged in it's procedures, they didn't sense it at all.
Tiring of the aliens on it's grounds the creature bursts forth from the woods with a roar.
The pit of Jarines stomach dropped, as she heard the roar. Fear welled up quickly in her bones.
She screamed out dropping her scanner rod.
The creature tore through the woods making it's way to them.
"OH!!" she cried out turning her head in terror.
"I've got to get out of here!" She thought to herself as she grabbed her helmet.
"R4. HELP!" The droid broke it's processing and turned quickly facing the being. It moved forward hoping
to block the beings access long enough for Jarine to get to her speeder.
But the creature moved far more swiftly then either of them.
Launching itself at the droid, it planted it's foot on the astromechs dome and kicked.
Propelling the astromech hard to the ground, in a fit of beeps and whistles, knocking it offline.
It's momentum in the opposite direction towards Jarine.
Jarine was no athlete, nor a soldier, and moved far slower through the forested ground, especially in heels.
Bluish green hands reached for the Scientist.
