my parents are blinder than I am, and my dad is far nerdier than I, and I got glasses when I was about four, so...yeah. this never happened to me.

Well, dad only said it, since he has 20/20 vision, but one eye actually got knocked crooked in an accident, so his glasses just correct that difference, whereas mine actually help my short-sightedness. But as it is, I only need to wear them whilst driving. Everything else is fine.
