Someone asked me the same thing once, she'd lost her sun-glasses.
Her only saving grace was they weren't on her face -- they were resting on her curly hair.

Couldn't be helped, there was no room in the car. I still had the red one at the time, and boot was full with three bodyboards, and spare seat had all our gear (towels etc).
