So alike, but so different. I find gorillas fascinating. They are capable of showing a wide range of emotions. This Silverback Male seemed deep in thought. There is one gorilla that I like to visit at the Toledo Zoo. In the indoor exhibits, there is a ledge they can sit on that is right against the glass. So, when they are sitting there, you are mere inches away from them, separated by the glass. As I sit there and study him, he almost seems as fascinated in studying me. Makes you wonder just how intelligent they are.
