Description
Sometimes we learn things the hard way...Anyone that has tried to catch Chesnaught will appreciate this. In his "recovery" phase, he has spiky shield activated, so the more you hit him, the more damage your mon takes!
Sorry Filly, I guess charging broadside into the thing covered with spikes was not the greatest idea! =
Don't worry, we carry a large supply of patches in the balloon for situations like this!

Yeah, deflation via nozzle is much more practical, cause it can be done multiple times!

We'll get her going again, since she is alive, I figure one of two things will happen, the patch will act as a band aid until the injury heals, or it will be absorbed. I guess that depends on the size of the injury...

Poor thing...that won't be a pretty repair job.

I figure she will heal. The patches will be like band-aids until the injury seals. Possible for something larger, the material might be absorbed. She will run again! =^^=

ok. So I guess it isn't like real life where a repair hurts the toys look forever?

Yes, but even in reality, with the right tools, and a little skill, one can make repairs either minimally obtrusive, invisible, or even make the toy better. I've heard of people taking pinch seams, cutting them apart, and then applying thin strips to make lapped seams. Vinyl paint can then cover the repair...
Some mons might like a "scar" or to to give them character, though...

I've never heard about toys being able to be repainted. And I can't say I'm going to ever do reinforcements in my life. Just too much and I don't want to risk hurting my squeaky friends by accident while trying to reinforce. Say I messed up a gryphon, I'd never be able to forgive myself...

there was one man on FA who repaired a Puffypaws Dragon with a blown seam. He used vinyl paint to hide the repair... www.furaffinity.net/view/91498…

Yeah, I remember that. Though there is almost NO variety of it by what I know. Noah got lucky in finding the right color...

Heh, that is part of the hazard of being a combat toy. Injuries will happen, and there are more than a few battles she has not left under her own power, mostly the larger bosses... Although that spiky shield has taken out more than its fair share of my mons...
This will require more than a couple patches, but I figure with the smaller injuries, those will heal normally, then the patch can come off. A large tear with a missing piece will probably need a "graft" of fresh material that might leave a scar for a bit. This is why we have a team, and not just solo mons! =^^=

I see. This is why I care the most about Elaie and my toys...
A formidable solution.

Actually, Fily is one of my most powerful fighters, her best defence is an incredible offence. So she flattens her opponents before they get the chance. This particular boss however posed difficult with the Spiky Shield...
Filly: Chirrrrrr... (I feel floppy...)
