Sounds like what happens when I try to draw. Most of my pics in my gallery are 3rd or 4th geneartion, after multiple screwups...

Hee, hee, I know what you mean, that's why I work digitally, it takes me ten times for each line sometimes it seems!
If I worked on paper, I'd have giant holes everywhere!

Now I have to ask, did you get the point of the joke, or did it just go flat?
(Sorry, I just couldn't hold it back anymore! )

Hee, hee! The caveat of being a porcupone fur! =^^=
I actually was thinking about that myself...
Hmmm, as an engineer, I think either they had kevlar seats, or the portable back shields....
Sorry, random engineer thought!

I suppose you could always go the non-engineer route (my personal favorite ) which is that the quills are relaxed and non-pointy when the character is relaxed, but when stressed or afraid they grow out and become like spikes. Maybe she started getting frustrated with the situation and her quills suddenly poked out! hehehe

Hee, hee, the "long story" will explain more!
Besides, you can't patent a natural solution! What else is one to do with gallons of Quill softener, or the back sheaths mark I, II, and III ? =^^=

Now, If I only had a better promoter!
