I have been itching to draw ALL FREAKING DAY!! It didn't turn out quite the way I hope but I tried really hard. I don't know how past me drew snakes so easily because I'm telling you those things are freaking hard and even harder to line. :') If you could not tell or don't remember, this is a redraw of this piece I made a while ago which I love to freaking death; August 2016. I really enjoyed redrawing this memory. I originally made it because I was frustrated that Silver's quills weren't turning out how I wanted them so I gave up and made snakes out of his quills. So I changed this a bit where his head is turned towards the snake and he has more of a surprised look on his face. I used tan for lineart because I was trying to closely copy the color of the paper I drew the old one on for fun I suppose. I feel the line art turned out more sloppy like my older pieces and I didn't mean it but I suppose it makes it closely resemble the original piece. It also looks a bit... Fuzzy? I should work on drawing bigger so when I enlarge it doesn't have that effect. I also changed a few of the snakes' positions and. I also did this to do the Before and After meme because I have always wanted to do that and it was fun taking a trip down memory lane and seeing how I've improved. Obviously, there is more to learn and work on but I do think this is a bit better than the original in quality but I still love the original very much. It makes me laugh and it was one of my few pieces where I happily expressed my sense of humor without fearing people wouldn't like it or get it. I need to work on showing that a bit more. I love to add humor to my pieces, even the dark ones because I believe there should always be something to smile about. I either at humor or some inspiring kind message. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Is it an improvement?
