You CANNOT comprehend the pain this image put me through. I can still spot so many freaking mistakes. Like, I hate this piece so much. I love the idea of it but not how it turned out. Unfortunately I procrastinated too long to come up with some freaking idea for Manouge and my life is going through a heck of a spin right now so I literally had no other time to do this. I did some pretty sloppy shading too and I was debating getting rid of the shading but it still makes the piece so much better looking, which is kind of sad. Like, there is so many things wrong with this initial piece and I definitely DO NOT see it winning. However, I'm just glad you can at least identify the characters. I went through MANY ideas and sketches. Like, I thought this one would be the easiest but I was VERY wrong. I will say I really love how the pink piercing on Manic turned out and Rouge's ear. I really love to draw Rouge's ears even if 95% of the time I draw them they look wrong. Btw, it's official, Rouge is now my least favorite character to draw, Shadow is now second. I really need to practice drawing Rouge... It's kind of sad because I actually really like Rouge. She's awesome! Also, Manic's hand has some short fingers but I really struggled with Rouge's arm and hand up there so at that point I kind of just stopped caring for a while. Drawing this was pure agony but it was worth it to redraw this old, old thing. It was originally a gift I made for actually... Now it actually looks somewhat decent (still ugly to me but I'm sure someone is bound to disagree with me, at least the quality is FAR better).

Anyway, sorry if you read all that Lex. Hopefully you didn't. Anyway, I decided to make it like an icon because I wanted to. I also thought it would be fun to revisit that past idea. Also, I am convinced this is how they meet! YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE!! Manic basically stole something and Rouge wanted to swoon him to get what she wants. She's probably enjoying it. >:3 But seriously, I couldn't resist this. Okay, I'm done. Hope you like this sloppy piece, Lex. :')
