Poor Mew, heck poor everyone in this case!
I don't blame Mewtwo for lashing out on her, he does make some points that he doesn't really know the answers to. Like we all bet/know Mew most likely fought hard to protect her young (but I'm guessing she could of been weaker during the time cause of giving birth to 2 babies and having to care for them, they probably took a lot of power from her since they are powerful legends as well)
She may have thought they were dead after getting taken may have searched and just never found anything and assumed the worst 
I seen 1 comment that said something like if Mew would of told him from the start would he have believed her? NO most likely not, he thought he was a clone so Mew saying that would of probably made him even angrier back then!
New coming in is very good since we know she has somewhat made peace with herself while Mewtwo still has an inner war
