God I hated that Jigglypuff. It was funny at first, but then they kept bringing it back over and over. I agree with Suede in that seeing that damn thing getting punched in the face by Misty's Staryu is pretty damn funny.

In all actuality, the Microphone Marker, or Marker Mic is actually just a Marker. Jigglypuff can still sing without it since "Sing" is a Pokemon Move that multiple Pokemons does have and can learn the Move, the Move "Sing" and Pokemon Singing in general are completely different.
Jigglypuff is unknowingly or knowingly use the Move "Sing" to amplify her voice. But, unbeknownst to the round fella, the effect of the Move "Sing" is to put the opponent to sleep.
There are Multiple sound type moves that a Pokemon can use and learn. From, locating the target to making such a loud sound just to confuse the opponent.
Oh and, I didn't research this. I just type what I know, so to what am I saying can be a complete lie or made up, but it'll be hard to say that it's not a lie since I did point out some obvious facts about Pokemon.
