“Feb. 6th - Mew gave birth. We named the newborn Mewtwo”
no this isn’t a joke, more like playing with a what-if idea where the story went with the old game journal entries where Mewtwo was actually stated as Mew’s offspring. What if he was born as a regular Mew but stolen by Team Rocket and experimented on and turned into what he is now. He has no idea and Mew probably wouldn’t tell him for fear of how he’d react

They’re pretty frightening when they want something, and will go to any lengths to get it, so attacking. Mythical psychic with probably hoards of dark and ghost type Pokémon would be no problem for them

Honestly, I find this more fascinating. It'd break the cloning continuity, but would also explain why he survived while the other clones failed. And frankly, gives a more fascinating story overall. I like it.

That’s what he is officially now but the old games had journals about Discovering Mew and they state that Mew gave birth to Mewtwo, could have been metaphorical or perhaps they changed it later on to him being a clone, like I said in my description this is just my own what if

This is adorable and so sad. And I think could also help explain his hatred for humans (at the start). Even if he has no memory before Team Rocket and their scientists taking him from Mew, the subconscious memory is there. And it could also have come out as him being angry at his mother for 'letting' him be taken in the first place.
