“Feb. 6th - Mew gave birth. We named the newborn Mewtwo”

no this isn’t a joke, more like playing with a what-if idea where the story went with the old game journal entries where Mewtwo was actually stated as Mew’s offspring. What if he was born as a regular Mew but stolen by Team Rocket and experimented on and turned into what he is now. He has no idea and Mew probably wouldn’t tell him for fear of how he’d react

After so much time apart, it must be quite the feeling for Mew to have Mewtwo back. Losing a child is difficult, and I'm being light here.

I never kept up with all the Pokemon lore, but I always assumed Mew was an offspring of Mewtwo, just wasn't sure if naturally or in a lab, or both!

Great art btw. Love how they're both huddled together like cats/kittens in those final panels <3
