What to say about this GIF, hmm...

I think by this point I realized that my animations wouldn't be done as quickly as I had assumed. Every time I produced a new animation, something would happen that would extend the story by one or two more animations. So rather than pretend like it would be finished, I just kept rolling with it.

Behind the scenes:

- Not too much to say here. There wasn't much thought that went into this. I simply drew what I thought would be the next logical step to the story.

- I noticed there's a lot of science triggered FMG transformations. I think that was a very common trope back when I was drawing these and it fit with the world, so science it is.

- The second time Maryanne transforms, that animation was based off the Tiny Toons episode where Plucky Duck judges a Ms. Universe contest. This is why it looks like her arms break in the middle of the animation, it was a direct rip from what they did in tiny toons but with less frames. But why did they bend the arms like that? Well, it's to make the animation seem smoother. When you see the animation on a TV, it would be extremely difficult for you to stop the arms twisted. This was a common practice in a lot of animation back then, and I also read that one animator once drew Goofy's feet backwards for his walk animation. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find proof of this, but considering the behind the scenes of Spider-man into the Spiderverse, I believe it.

- I loved how the image of Maryanne toppling a building came out. It was inspired by someone's artwork but I drew it myself without tracing. I think it might have been FemForteFan. My only gripe is that Maryanne looked too similar to Jenna. However, having Maryanne similar to Jenna made it easier to repeat color palettes.

- Anna wearing a ridiculous outfit was just for humor. Didn't really have any fancy back story except that I thought it would be funny.

- I also enjoyed animating and the timing of Jenna's embarrassed look.

BONUS TRIVIA: Who is Anna Bancroft? Before I did any digital animations or artwork, I use to draw pen and paper comics. These comics have long since been destroyed and are no longer in existence, but I can tell you a bit about them. In the comics, Jenna was not a main character. The main character's were Kimberly and Brittany. These were the names of my crushes at the time, so I had them partner up against Amanda and Maryanne who were the bitches of the time.

Kimberly was the first girl I ever drew hulking up. I even used a how to draw book to copy a man's anatomy but replaced it with a woman's. Technically, my first fan art was of my own version of Grey She-Hulk. However, for the most part, Kimberly never turned grey in the comics. She hulked out and often fought against Amanda. As I continued to draw more comics, I then introduced Brittany and Maryanne. Brittany was the blonde of the group with wavy hair and one lock of hair coming down over her eye. She and Kimberly would team up against Amanda and Maryanne, and I often traced over printed out images of artists I respected at the time. Iczerman, Cancuz, Scoundrel, and I tended to shy away from ultra detailed artists like Wreck-Shop.

Jenna didn't show up until 3-4 years later. She was a new character that was introduced because I had met a new girl I had a mad crush on. So Jenna became the new girl that was bigger and stronger than the previous girls and she would help fight against Maryanne and Amanda.

When I started doing animations, I had to decide which characters from the comics I wanted to port over. Jenna obviously made it in, so did Amanda and Maryanne. Unfortunately, Kimberly got the axe because I couldn't have two female leads and Jenna was my muse, so Kimberly got cut. However, Brittany did manage to make it in but in the form of a small recurring role as Anna Bancroft. I figured since I wanted a She-Hulk character, maybe the old Brittany could take on that role and be the She-Hulk for this animation series.

I had no idea what would happen to Anna when I was creating these animations.
