Now I'm getting warmed up. This is more or less the direction I was going to go with Alinga and Alkina. The background is inspired by Aboriginal art, which is an excellent thing, and I really didn't do it justice, so just look it up. It's pretty amazing.Next up: more surrealism and less physics! Also a better background! The "dots" definitely could've been finer. Also placed better in some areas. ._.
Though to be fair, this is decent for a first try. Gotta polish up the technique.
Also was pretty relaxing to make for the most part.

Every detail is really amazing. Really. But they don't read as kangaroos. Not necessarily a problem, given that beloved characters like the Animaniacs aren't supposed to be any particular animal. But, if that's what you were going for . . .

You can never have too many 'roo girls, specially not good looking ones like these.
I hope we'll get to see those paws (in mid jump, if possible) and pouches from up close in the future.
Also: The albino one kind of looks like she might have a young joey in her pouch. Does she? And if not, will she? (Sorry, but as I have a bit of a pregnancy fetish, I have to ask this)

Aaaand no, their bellies are the same. I guess it's a lighting+fur flow thing making an illusion.
As for "will she?" - I'd have to make a joey first, and I don't think that's gonna happen, but their pouches can be useful for a variety of other things instead.

It's become more of a job by now, actually. I've been spending literally entire days doing it for years now. So like 6-12 hours, or more in extreme cases. I'm pretty sure I've surpassed the famous 10,000 hours thing by now. C: But I know I still have a long way to go. Will keep going.

This style is awesome, the fur has just the right balance of realism and simplification to be super appealing. Makes you really want to pet them. :-D

oh my god the art quality of this picture is amazing. the details are simply phenomenal! but from a personal standpoint, this will haunt me. anamorphic pictures always make me uncomfortable and the realism (which is fuxking AMAZING) makes this picture land in the uncanny valley for me. but seriously, you have some incredible talent. i feel like you'd excel in drawing humanoid monster type things.
